Covid-19 vaccination progress update

A huge thank you must go to our staff and volunteers who are running a very successful and efficient vaccination clinic at Hertford Theatre in a safe and friendly manner. By the end of this week, they will have achieved the government’s aim of giving a first dose of the vaccine to all patients who are aged 50 years and over and also those aged between 16-64 years who are clinically at risk. They are also administering second dose vaccines to older patients and those in care homes or at home.

The local mass vaccination centres are also doing a great job too. Please remember that you must get your second vaccination at the same place as you had your first.

Are you worried by media reports about when you may get your vaccine?

All current pre-booked first and second dose vaccinations will go ahead at Hertford Theatre and at the mass vaccination centres. There may be a delay until late April in starting on the under 50s age group. More information can be found on:

Please do not ring your surgery to enquire about, or to book, a vaccine appointment.
